Treatment of Learning Disorder

Learning Disorders or Learning Disability (LD) need appropriate diagnosis followed by Remedial Education, Counselling & Occupational Therapy as a mainstay of treatment.

Remedial Education:

Specialized teaching support given after psychological assessment and diagnosis, usually for about 6 months. It helps children improve their reading, writing, math, and study skills so they can cope better with schoolwork.

Counselling:

Provides emotional support to children with learning disorders, helping them cope with low self-esteem, anger, anxiety, and other related challenges.

Occupational Therapy:

Helps children develop everyday skills, manage sensory difficulties, and improve focus, coordination, and independence in daily life.
