Headaches in children are common and may not be serious. Like adults, children can develop different types of headaches, including migraine or stress-related (tension) headaches. Children can also have chronic daily headaches.
In some cases, headaches in children are caused by an infection, high levels of stress or anxiety, or minor head trauma. You need to see us if the headache is severe, frequent or persistent and disturbing the routine of the child.
Routine headache may not need any extensive investigations and treatment and can be managed by some lifestyle modifications and simple medications.
We run our Headache Clinic every Wednesday between 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm. You can fix an appointment with the secretary on our regular contact numbers.
